ABSTRACT
The article reports on the move of independent municipal advisers to oppose the proposal of Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB) on increasing the number of board members in Washington D.C. Steve Apfelbacher, president of the National Association of Independent Public Finance Advisors, stated that the move did not constitute fair representation to the municipal adviser members. The organization has already appointed new set of officers for fiscal 2011.
