ABSTRACT
The article presents the insights of Canadian Library Association (CLA) president regarding the Association's involvement with International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA). The author states that he was pleasured representing the CLA at IFLA's 76th General Conference and Assembly on August 10-15, 2010 in Gothenburg, Sweden. He adds that since Canada intends to become world stage's player, CLA involvement with IFLA is needed, as well as international connections.
