ABSTRACT
The article offers a framework for rethinking leadership styles through the Music Paradigm. The Music Paradigm offers ideas on the contribution that each player makes to the whole, the significance of effective teamwork and the influence on various leadership styles on performance. The author claims that an effective leader offers others with a sense of the big picture, makes a qualitative difference in a team's performance and empowers people to do their jobs well.
