ABSTRACT
The article presents an outlook for the U.S. Cyber Command. Despite delays in its establishment, the Cyber Command was created in May 2010 at Fort Meade in Maryland and will operate under the Strategic Command. It will be headed by General Keith B. Alexander, who currently serves as director of the National Security Agency (NSA) and head of the Central Security Service. According to security consultant Michael Tanji, the service should be focused on both offense and defense by enabling its members to understand the mindset and techniques of enemies.
