ABSTRACT
The article reports on the Metals Service Center Institute Inc. (MSCI) survey of the Top 50 Service Center operators. It revealed that the companies have recovered from the economic downturn of 2009. The rationalization of facilities has seemingly ceased as a little over 1,400 stocking locations are being operated. An average increase of 25 percent in 2010 revenues is forecasted for the Top 50.
