Titan preps for contract talks

The article informs that pacts between tire maker Titan International Inc. and the hourly work forces represented by the United Steelworkers (USW) is going to expire on November 19, 2010 and so talks for fresh contracts between them will begin from end of August. Kevin Kirk, president of USW Local 745 in Freeport, said that there are many issues including job security, health care, wages and benefits that need to be addressed.
