Turkey gets labor peace

The article informs that the tire industry of Turkey has reached a collective labor agreement. It has been stated that the agreement covers more than 4,000 members at four factories of Bridgestone Corp., Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. and Pirelli &C. SpA. According to the International Federal of Chemical, Energy, Mine and General Workers' Unions, the agreement forestalled a strike as employers were seeking concessions on working conditions and wage grades.
