ABSTRACT
This article reports on the move of PositiveID Corp. to acquire its former parent, Digital Angel Corp., through an unsolicited, non-binding bid. Digital Angel rejected the offer as inadequate. PositiveID offered to acquire the maker of animal identification (ID) and emergency identification products through a stock swap. Digital Angel noted the failure of PositiveID to offer cash in its bid.
