ABSTRACT
The article discusses the assumed disinclination of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to release its report on assumed connivance of Central Intelligence Agency with drug smugglers. It says that in December 1997, DOJ announced that it would reveal the results of the report. It tells that after the charges were proved wrong, the DOJ suddenly declared that it had no immediate plans to publicize the report. Congresswoman Maxine Waters alleges that DOJ was trying to hide something from public.
