ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the foreign-aid appropriations in the U.S. According to Louisiana Representative Otto Passman, U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower administration has unspent nearly 9.5 billion dollars for foreign-aid funds. It says that U.S. has an unspent 3.7 billion-dollar obligation for military items such as tanks and planes for its allies. Meanwhile, the U.S. House has approved to give songstress Jane Froman 138,205 dollars for the injuries she suffered from plane crash in 1943.
