ABSTRACT
The article discusses how U.S. presidential candidates Republican Dwight Eisenhower and Democrat Adlai Stevenson stand as the 1952 presidential campaign closes. There are eight states with 75 electoral votes are considered sure Democratic states, including Kentucky, Mississippi, Rhode Island, North Carolina, West Virginia, Georgia, Arkansas and Alabama. Seven sure Eisenhower states include Indiana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine. Meanwhile, there are ten states described as leaning to Stevenson, and 17 leaning to Dwight.
