ABSTRACT
The article presents the religious views of the leading presidential candidates for the 1952 U.S. Presidential election as published by the "Episcopal Churchnews." According to protestant Dwight Eisenhower, a free government can only be expressed in religious terms. Unitarian Adlai Stevenson said that religious faith is still the greatest national resource of the country.
