ABSTRACT
The article describes the highlights of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) meet held at the Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1982. The event was participated by various wresters including two-time world 163-pound wrestling champion Lee Kemp, 220-pound Marine Sergeant Greg Gibson and James Phills of Harvard. The team title at the event was won by the New York Athletic Club. An analysis of the performances of Kemp and Gibson at the event is also given.
