ABSTRACT
The article presents a reprint of the article "United States war veterans gain access to medicinal marijuana," by Cal Woodward, which appeared at www.cmaj.ca. It discusses the new directive of the U.S.Veterans Affairs Department which embraces the use of marijuana for the treatment of pain and infirmity among U.S. veterans. However, it mentions that the usage of medical marijuana will only be allowed under U.S. states where it is legal.
