ABSTRACT
The article focuses on college football rivalries in the U.S. In 1903, a seven-man defensive line, which was considered as one of football's significant innovations, was used by Minnesota for the first time. The Michigan-Minnesota contest for the Little Brown Jug became one of the known rivalries in football, the most famous of which happened in 1940. Ivy is the league that Yale and Harvard compete for.
