ABSTRACT
The article profiles American composer and classical guitarist James Lentini. He is a dean School of Fine Arts and professor of music at Miami University in Ohio. He studied classical guitar and composition at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan and earned his doctorate at the University of Southern California. In 2010, he achieved a compact disc (CD) devoted entirely to his own music, and the said CD has been released by Naxos as part of the label's American Classics series.
