ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the progressive network innovations in the Internet from text and graphics to real-time videos and TV streamlined shows and to Xbox 360s for television sets which established the growth in the media industry. The software, RealNetworks, was first developed by the Seattle Internet Exchange that first made a leap in Internet innovations for media content display. The article highlights the RealVideo codec and Real player software for Internet video streaming.
