Ilmenau: Neue Hauptbibliothek der Universitätsbibliothek eröffnet

This article reports on the opening of the Principle Library of the Ilmenau University Library on April 7, 2010. The project, which created 7286 square meters of library space, took two years of planning and three years of construction to finish. During this time the library had to move to a different building for several months, and had to shut down completely for several days in April 2010. In 2011 they will be working a science department, called the Curie Library, and their own newspaper.
