ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the study conducted by U.S. Government Accountability Office on the challenges of the U.S. Air Force in launching and modernizing the Global Positioning System (GPS). The study finds the lack of comprehensive guidance on the GPS interagency requirements process. The study offers recommendation to the Department of Defense (DOD) and Department of Transportation in developing comprehensive guidance for GPS interagency requirements process.
