ABSTRACT
The article provides an overview of the Enterprise Zone (EZ) Program in Texas. It is founded to provide employers with an incentive to employ disadvantaged or Enterprise Zone resident employees. The key to receive the maximum benefits available with the EZ Program is through proper planning and gaining local support. The program is not recommended to all companies due to the difficulty in navigating through the application and compliance process.
