ABSTRACT
The article presents several intellectual resources involving the new innovations on the allocation of assets. It reviews the book "Are You a Stock or a Bond? Create Your Own Pension Plan for a Secure Financial Future," by Moshe Milevsky, which provides practical ideas for the individual in the asset allocation decision process and determination of the probability of retirement ruin. It also offers information on a study entitled "What Should Your Asset Allocation Be When You Retire?," which examines three tactical asset allocation techniques. Moreover, it looks at the article "The Importance of Asset Allocation" in which Roger Ibbotson confirms that the allocation of assets plays an important role in financial management.
