The author presents his message to members of the American Rose Society (ARS). He announces the opening of entries for the Rose in Review (RIR) evaluation, which are included in the Society's publication "The Handbook for Selecting Roses," and urges the members to submit their reviews online. He stresses the importance of the RIR submissions as a way of discovering and monitoring new rose varieties. He also urges members to continue donating to the Society and congratulates Jeff and Cindy Garrett for winning the 2010 Glenda Whitaker Award.
