ABSTRACT
The article reports that Nestle Purina PetCare, a subsidiary of Nestle, S.A., has completely purchased the dog-treats business Waggin Train from VMG Partners. Waggin Train received assistance with improving brand awareness and distribution efforts from VMG Partners during the investment period. Kara Cissell-Roell, managing director from VMG Partners, explained that the deal, which is closing by September 2010, has made an exit that exceeded their investors' expectations.
