ABSTRACT
The author offers opinions on shortstop Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees. Noting that Jeter is having the poorest season of his career as a batter in 2010, the author argues that Jeter, who is a free agent at the end of the season, will have little alternative but to resign with the Yankees for whatever sum the club offers.
