ABSTRACT
An interview with French President Valery Giscard d'Estaing is presented. When asked about his plan for France, Giscard said that he will create a model of a liberal advanced society. He comments on the speech of U.S. President Gerald R. Ford which failed to mention Europe in his inaugural address. He believes that style is the aesthetic of action that manifests change.
