ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the scandal regarding the financial dealings with Maryland engineers and contractors of U.S. Vice President Spiro Agnew. The author presents two conflicting scenarios on the meeting of both President Nixon and Vice President Agnew last September 1, 1973. The first scenario is that Agnew inform Nixon regarding his indictment by the Baltimore grand jury that he informs Nixon at the meeting and presents plans dealing with the danger. The last scenario is that the resignation of Agnew was discussed at the lengthy meeting with Nixon but give persuasive case against his office. Moreover, the author concludes that if Agnew will remain in office, Nixon will face difficult political problem if the Vice President is indicted.
