ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the status of political prisoners after the execution of the Paris settlement that calls for the release of all civilian internees in different parts of the world. It highlights the occurring exchange of captives in Vietnam in which emerging tales of torture and suffering have been reported that go beyond any told by the returning American prisoners. With this, it reveals the incident of swapping. In the first stage, about 1,032 captives in exchange of 7,000 Communists held while the second swapping was interrupted by the accuracy of the number of captives held by the two sides. Moreover, the article shares the facts about the captivity of other prisoners.
