ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the pollution in the lakes of Switzerland. It informs that Lake Lugano in Switzerland and Italy has been contaminated by the untreated human wastes. It is stated that Lake Geneva in Switzerland and France has become clouded and dull. It offers information on a cleanup campaign by the Swiss government which is in an attempt to save the Lake Zurich in Switzerland by building three-stage chemical-and sewage-treatment plants in the lake's watershed.
