ABSTRACT
The article offers information on Cambodian venture, presented by the U.S. President, Richard Nixon, to win peace in Vietnam and in the Pacific. It states that Nixon wants to prove himself successful in pulling out the U.S. forces from Cambodia completely by July 1970, and therefore he wants to buy time for Vietnamization. It mentions that although, U.S. troops have been ordered to leave Cambodia by June 30, the Vice President of South Vietnam, Nguyen Cao Ky, stated that if necessary, his troops would again enter Cambodia. It presents the outcome of the 12 Asian nations conference, held last week, which concluded that they may produce a calls for support of Cambodian neutrality and withdrawal of foreign troops.
