ABSTRACT
The article presents some problems of passengers with disabilities who use wheelchairs aboard airlines and the failure of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in the U.S. to protect them. It relates that one of the most common problems encountered by passengers is handling wheelchairs which should be done with extreme caution. It also cites the lack of good and repetitive training of carrier personnel which resulted to problems in dealing with disabled passengers.
