ABSTRACT
The author enumerates the strategies that will increase the alignment between leadership development (LD) efforts and the business strategy. Modification of 360-degree assessment so that more of it is directed toward the strategy is one way according to the author. Another deals with the selection of development goals that relate to the business strategy. Also suggested is the use of action learning projects as part of the LD efforts.
