ABSTRACT
The author discusses the importance of executive advisement (EA) to a business. She notes that EA goes beyond executive coaching in which the former can change the purview of the chief executive officer (CEO) leading to the integration of internal performance with marketplace opportunities. Things that are expected from an EA are given which include the hiring of an external executive advisor. She states that the EA process enables the executive to gain unlimited potential for vetting and improving decisions as well as respond to challenges.
