ABSTRACT
This article reports on the acquisition of Arizant, a manufacturer of patient warming solutions, by 3M of Saint Paul, Minnesota, in 2010. 3M acquired the company for 810 million U.S. dollars in cash. The deal will be subjected to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. Gary Maharaj, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Arizant, endorses the merger of the two companies.
