ABSTRACT
The article reports on the rescue mission of Henry Kissinger, a diplomat and Secretary of State in the U.S. It mentions the actions of Kissinger to strengthen the relations between the U.S. and the Soviet Union including the U.S. cruise missile, the Soviet Backfire bomber and the proposal of U. S. to the Russians. It also provides an overview of the analysis provided by the U. S. analysts. It also discusses the Strategic Arms Limitation Talks (SALT) agreement and the military aid sent by Russia to the Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola.
