The article presents information on Detroit, Michigan-based non-profit organization Back Alley Bikes that helps kids in building transportation in Detroit. It was started by Detroit Summer, an organization dedicated to helping local youths through summer camps. Back Alley Bikes has now become independently run and a center of nonprofit community outreach and education.
