The article presents the author's views on posting events in Facebook. She discusses the advantages and disadvantages in using various virtues and features of the social media Web site. She argues not to rely on Facebook alone and suggests using a more effective manner like posting in the calendar section of a community and alternative paper like "Just Out." She offers ways on what one needs to know and do to promote and market an event including press releases.
