ABSTRACT

The article discusses the author's views on the impact of the Turkish 'flotilla' to the image of Israel and its standing in the whole world. He elaborates on the aspects of public diplomacy that compels mutual understanding, sound international relations, and peace among nations. However, the author thinks that Israel's raid on the Turkish flotillas in international waters has demonstrated the limits of U.S. leverage on Israel and in the Middle East peace process.
