ABSTRACT
The article presents information on various active volcanoes in the world for travelers to trek. It is stated that the trek to the volcano Krakatoa in Indonesia can be arranged in short notices to look at unexpected eruptions. Geologist Tom Pfeiffer leads walking and study tours of Thera Island and volcano in Greece. In Iceland, trekking to Mount Hekla in the summer provides travelers views of southern Iceland's range of volcanic terrain and distant glaciers.
