ABSTRACT
The article presents a message from the chair of the New Zealand Futures Trust (NZFT). As the new chair he believes it is time to start making actions and to maintain high standards in the organisation. He discusses the outcome of the World Futures Conference in Boston, Massachusetts in July 2010 where it was mentioned that there was a mismatch in education in reference to job availability after a student graduates. He also explores the education systems including courses in the engineering that may not be compatible with the changing technology.
