The article reports on the plan of fast-food chain Burger King to sell itself to private equity (PE). Among the bidders are said to be 3i Group Plc and 3G Capital. A UBS report says it expects to see a price of 7x-8x EV/EBITDA. The report adds that they expect to see PE playing a bigger role in the restaurant stock price valuations in the coming months.
