ABSTRACT
The article reports that a study by Dimitra Kyrou and colleagues from Belgium reveals that luteal phase supplementation (LPS) does not enhance the rates of pregnancy in hCG-induced natural frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) cycles. It says that the first reported successful FET pregnancy was in 1983, yet remains no standard procedure for endometrium preparation. It states that natural cycle or endometrial preparation with exogenous estrogen and progesterone are the most common FET methods.
