ABSTRACT
This section presents several definitions related to organic gardening. Organic gardening refers to a type of gardening which only involves natural methods and products. Humus or humic acid can address detrimental fungus in the soil and prevent disease through its beneficial microorganisms. Mycorrhizae pertain to the fungi that attach to the roots of the plants and extend their root system.
