ABSTRACT
The article offers the author's insights on the importance of increasing the user equipment (UE) radio performance. The author states that the radio performance of smartphones and modems are essential to the quality of experience (QoE) of its users and to the performance of the network where it operates. He relates that UE radio performance is associated to all the operations of wireless data networks. He notes that the customers would prefer to pay more for high performance UE.
