ABSTRACT
Describes a procedure to arrive at a current controlled resistor, based on superconducting films for converting a sinusoidal current waveform of a certain magnitude into a triangular voltage waveform. Design of the resistor; Fabrication and measurements; Calculation of output waveforms for input currents lower than the maximum current.

This note attempts to describe a current controlled variable resistor conceived based on the property of critical current associated with a superconductor. This idea has been tested using high-temperature superconductor films.

We report magnetoresistive and structural measurements of superconducting FeSe0.5Te0.5 epitaxial thin films grown by pulsed laser deposition. Enhanced onset superconducting transition temperature (∼17 K) is observed in some of these films. Structural analysis by x-ray diffraction and high...

The authors study the frequency dependent damping in rapid single flux quantum (RSFQ) circuits as means to reduce dissipation and consequent decoherence in RSFQ/qubit circuits. Terahertz radiation from the mesa structures of Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ is detected in samples with thin electrodes <100 nm. In samples with thick electrodes ≃400 nm, neither radiations nor voltage jumps in current-voltage characteristics are detected. This suggests that the thin electrode...
