ABSTRACT
Describes the fabrication of a Fresnel phase zone plate for hard x ray using physical vapor deposition alternating transparent and opaque layers onto a fine gold wire core 47 micrometers in diameter. Focusing test; Existence of interface roughness of the outer concentric layers in all of the Fresnel zone plates that were fabricated.
