The article focuses on the business initiatives and strategies of insurance industry's chief information officers (CIO) in the aftermath of the global financial crisis. It states that growing the business is one of the top three business priorities of CIO to address over the next several months. It indicates that CIOs are now improving systems, architectures, and simplifying technology to align information technology (IT) and insurance industry.
