ABSTRACT
The article discusses the impact of the Risk Retention Modernization Act of 2010, sponsored by Representatives Dennis Moore, John Campbell, Suzanne Kosmos, on risk retention groups (RRG) in the U.S. According to Janice Abraham, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of United Educators, the regulation provides opportunities to RRG and empowers them to write property insurance.
