ABSTRACT
The article reports on the proposed 1.2 billion dollar take over of Motorola Inc.'s wireless business by Nokia Siemens Networks BV (NSN) in the U.S. It mentions that the deal will make the company number two to Alcatel-Lucent in most markets, while it gives NSN a bigger presence in the country where Ericsson AG is already a market leader. An overview of several companies making its way in the market is also discussed.
