Presents the correspondence between Monsignor Giovanni Arberino and Monsignor Filippo Archinto, which focused on the involvement of Michelangelo in the construction of the Saint Peter's Basilica in Rome, Italy from December 1546 to May 1547. Issues regarding Michelangelo's plan to replace the group of Antonio da Sangallo with his own men; Oppositions faced by Michelangelo.
