The article focuses on the diagnosis of Gorlin syndrome, a rare autosomal-dominant cancer syndrome. It presents the case of a 37-year-old man with a history of small lesions on his back, face and chest that had gradually increased in a period of three years. It highlights the need for an early diagnosis on such disease to prevent risk of developing multiple neoplasm and the necessity for radiologic studies to detect skeletal anomalies such as odontogenic keratocysts.
